WhatsApp Favorites Feature Came to Latest Android Beta Version Here’s How to Add Contacts Groups in Favorite Tab

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature in which users will see a new ‘Favourites’ chat box in the app. The company has given this feature in beta version 2.24.12.7. Through the new favorite filter, users will get the facility to filter their favorite chats in a separate box. The website says that this feature is now available to some beta testers and may be available to more beta testers in the coming days. The feature was first reported by WABetaInfo share I had done it.
We were able to use this feature in the latest beta version of WhatsApp. The new feature definitely enhances the chatting experience as you no longer have to scroll through the screen to find your favorite person or group chat. You can add your favorite contact or group chat to the favorites list and then you will see a ‘Favourites’ tab on your home screen, under which you will find chats of the users you have added. Below we are telling you an easy way to do this.

The picture above shows both ways to add Favourites
How to add your contact or group to Favourites?
The first and easiest way to do this is to tap and hold on the chat box of your favorite person or group, after which you have to tap on the three-dot menu option on the top right. Here you will find the option of ‘Add to Favourites’.
At the same time, if you want to add many people or groups at once, then the second option is convenient for you. You have to go to Settings inside the app. Here you will see the ‘Favourites’ option. Now tap on ‘Add Favourite’ inside this option and select your favorite contacts or groups and tap on the green tick button present below.
Apart from this, let us tell you that WhatsApp has recently introduced a new feature, which allows users to share long voice messages in status updates. This feature is available for both iPhone and Android versions of the app. On the other hand, the instant messaging platform is working on another feature that generates profile photos with Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, it will be available for users using Android smartphones. This feature is being called AI Profile Photos.
