WhatsApp fixed after hours of problems, now users are able to send and receive messages

WhatsApp has now restarted after being down for more than two hours. Complaints about WhatsApp being down started coming in around 12:30 pm on Tuesday, October 25. There were speculations that there was a problem with the servers of the popular instant messaging platform, as users were complaining that they were having trouble sending or receiving messages on the platform. A large number of people were affected by the issues with the platform as it is used extensively for personal use as well as by businesses, schools and many other institutions. The Meta-owned messaging platform is currently used by more than 2 billion people worldwide.

WhatsApp was down for more than two hours worldwide. The problem in service started at 12:30 pm, after which lakhs of users started complaining about it. The problem was noticed not only in the mobile app but also in the web version. Now, Meta has fixed the issue and both the app and web platforms are working as before.

Let us tell you that this problem started around 12:30 pm today, after which the outage monitoring platform downdetector But lakhs of users complained about the problem. Users complained that they were facing problems in sending and receiving messages on WhatsApp. Gadgets 360 also encountered this issue on both the mobile app and WhatsApp Web platforms.

DownDetector’s heat map showed that this problem was reported in many countries around the world, including India.
