This icon is similar to the icons seen on other chats and groups and is placed next to the text field at the bottom. According to the feature tracker, it will allow users to send voice messages to Meta AI. AI will be able to process audio and understand the query. After this it will generate the answer in text. Gadgets 360 staff members were unable to see its availability on the WhatsApp beta app for Android.

This feature can be useful in situations where users cannot type a long question. This can be taken advantage of while on the go, where the user cannot continuously focus on the phone for typing. Interestingly, Meta AI was always multimodal and could generate images, but audio generation or processing has not been added to it until now. This update may finally change that.
