WhatsApp New Default Media Quality Setting Feature Rolling Out for Android

First by Android Police saw It is learned that WhatsApp for Android platform now allows users to set the default media upload quality. This means that users can set the default quality setting to HD every time they share a photo or video with someone on WhatsApp.
The new toggle is present in the Settings option under Storage and Data in WhatsApp. Gadgets 360 staff members verified the availability of this feature in the new stable WhatsApp for Android. As seen in the screenshot, this feature is available as a new Media Upload Quality option which offers two options:
Standard Quality: Fast in sending small size files and HD Quality: Slower to send, can be 6 times larger. Feature tracker WABetaInfo suggested that WhatsApp was testing this feature in March. However, as per claims it was not even available to beta testers at that time.
WhatsApp Channel Analytics
It is being said that WhatsApp for Android is testing a new channel analytics feature. It was reported to be seen in app version 2.24.13.10. It is estimated that this feature will provide analytics to WhatsApp channel owners with metrics like net follow and number of accounts reached etc. It is said to provide information about audience engagement and performance of WhatsApp channels. According to the feature tracker, this feature is still a work in progress and has not been released to beta testers yet.
