WhatsApp New Feature Block Messages From Unknown Senders Beta Version 2241724 Spotted All Details

Feature tracker WABetaInfo notes a new feature on WhatsApp beta for Android saw Under which messages from unknown senders can be blocked. This feature has to be enabled from inside the settings. According to the tracker, the feature has been spotted on WhatsApp beta version 2.24.17.24. As per the shared screenshot, the feature will be introduced with the name of ‘Block unknown account messages’. There is a toggle button, which appears to be off by default and users will be able to enable it through the settings.
The description of the feature reads, (translated) “To protect your account and improve device performance, WhatsApp will block messages from unknown accounts if they exceed a certain volume.”

The fixed volume requirement seems to mean that instead of blocking all messages from an unknown account, it will only block senders if they send more than a certain number of messages. This could be due to spammers, who send a large number of promotional messages every day. No information has been given in the report on whether it will also work on those senders whose message requests have been accepted or not.
Apart from this, let us tell you that now traffic challans will be sent to people in Delhi on WhatsApp. Delhi Governor VK Saxena has given orders to start the process for this soon, after which traffic challans will be sent on WhatsApp. Additionally, WhatsApp has launched a new feature for those traveling by metro in Delhi and NCR. In the latest feature, WhatsApp users can now recharge their smart cards issued by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) through a dedicated chatbot on the instant messaging platform. Apart from top-up service, it also provides other services like buying tickets, viewing past transactions and contacting customer support.
