According to WABetaInfo Report According to WhatsApp, WhatsApp has included a feature to prevent screenshots of profile pictures in the beta version. This feature will be available for Android users right now. After the new feature is introduced, whenever you try to take a screenshot of a user’s profile photo, the screen will turn black and a message will appear that screenshots cannot be taken due to app restrictions.

Through this feature, WhatsApp is preventing users from capturing profile pictures who have not taken your permission, or those who want to take a screenshot of a user’s profile picture in an unauthorized manner and want to share it. A select group of beta testers have been given access to this feature right now. Soon it will be available to all users.
