WhatsApp users will soon be able to run one account on four devices

According to a tweet posted by WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a feature that lets you run a single WhatsApp account on four devices at the same time. The screenshot shared with the tweet shows that the app will use Wi-Fi connectivity to sync data across all four or less devices. However, WhatsApp may also offer a mobile data option to users who do not have a Wi-Fi connection but want to use the same account on multiple devices.
Yes, it’s the ability to use your WhatsApp account from 4 devices at the same time.
Under development, but it’s great!— WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) June 12, 2020
Currently, WhatsApp does not allow users to connect the same account to multiple devices simultaneously. Apart from this, the application also does not support two WhatsApp accounts on one device. However, some Android phones have dual app support to enable access to two apps.
WABetaInfo has clearly stated that the new feature is still under development. This means that it is not part of any recent beta versions and is probably limited to an internal test.
