WhatsApp Web Users Soon Get New Revamped Sidebar Interface

WhatsApp update tracker from WABetaInfo Report According to, the instant messaging platform has started sending the new interface to some users. The report states that not all users who signed up for the beta program are getting this feature as the company is currently conducting a limited testing. The new interface does not bring new features, but rather rearranges the positions of several sections of the platform in the area designed on the sidebar.
Based on screenshots shared by the publication, the new WhatsApp web interface also comes with a dark mode, which will provide better readability for some users who prefer the black-background-white-text format. Icons for Chats, Communities, Status Updates, Channels, Archived Chats, Starred Messages, and even Broadcast Messages can be seen on the sidebar. It also offers better navigation for starred messages and archived chats as there is no single-click access to them in the current variant.
With the new interface now available for beta testers, the report also says that the feature could be available to all users in a few weeks.
