The new sticker pack has been released in the name of ‘Together at Home’, which means ‘together at home’. The name suggests that this pack is related to the emotions of people locked in homes. It has a sticker that shows a man wearing pajamas with a laptop, apparently a reference to people working from home. WhatsApp is trying to promote social distancing through stickers depicting ‘air high five’ and group video calling. Also inside the pack is a sticker that shows a man watching a TV series on a bed, another man doing yoga with his dog, reminding people to wash hands, people on a balcony. A woman talking and using binoculars to keep an eye on the neighbors. The pack also features stickers thanking medical heroes as well as individual heroes for their services during the COVID-19 crisis.
The WhatsApp “Together At Home” sticker pack is available in-app and can be downloaded for free. It is currently available in English as well as 10 other languages, which include Arabic, French, German, Indonesian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish etc. These languages depend on the country. In India, this pack is available in English and Hindi.
The company has recently made changes to the group calling feature to improve the WhatsApp experience. Earlier, a maximum of four users could make a video call, but now in the new beta version, a maximum of eight users can make a group call simultaneously. Although this feature is currently released for beta users, it is expected to be released for all users soon.
