Android Nougat for Google Nexus phones

Older devices like Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player will also get the update to Android 7.1 Nougat. Apart from this, the update will also be released for supported Android One devices. However, Google has not clarified which Android One handsets will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

Motorola has informed that it will provide Android Nougat update for 14 of its smartphones. The Moto Z, Moto G (Gen 4) and Moto G Plus (Gen 4) will be the first to get the update. Other smartphones getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update include Moto G Play (Gen 4), Moto X Pure Edition (Gen 3), Moto X Style, Moto , Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play Droid and Moto Z Droid.
It is worth noting that Moto E3 Power, launched this year itself, and Moto G (Gen 3), introduced last year, will not get the update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
On the other hand, Motorola’s owner company Lenovo has not given any timeline for Android 7.0 Nougat update for its devices.

Sony informed in its blog that 11 of its smartphones will get Android Nougat update. Leading the list are the flagship models Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact. After this, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra and Xperia X Performance.

HTC had informed by tweeting in the month of June this year that it will release Android Nougat update for HTC 10 in the fourth quarter of 2016. After this, One A9 and One M9 smartphones will also get its update. The company also said that it will release another list in which other devices will also be mentioned. It is reported that this Taiwanese company will launch a new smartphone HTC Bolt by the end of the month which will be equipped with Android 7.0 Nougat.
Android 7.0 Nougat update for LG phones
The flagship handset LG V20 is the first smartphone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat update. However, the company has not said anything regarding Android Nougat update for the rest of the phones. But the news is that the company is building its custom UI on Nougat. For this, it is also running a beta program in South Korea.
