Xiaomi Redmi Note 4- 8/10

1. Moto G5 (3 GB)
Launched in February, the Moto G5 (3GB RAM variant) is a great value for money option in the under Rs 15,000 category. The software on the phone is fantastic and works as a great all-rounder in every department.
Talking about the most special feature of the phone, it provides free backup of full-resolution photos through Google Photos for two years. Apart from this, the lightweight and convenient design of the phone is also its main selling point. The phone heats up a bit which is not good.
2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
Just like its smaller variant Redmi 4, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a great budget smartphone. The phone has been launched at a very affordable price. The battery performance of the smartphone is excellent and the overall performance is also good.
Camera is the weakest feature of this smartphone and we see this deficiency in most of the budget smartphones. But everything else makes the phone a great device and one of our top picks for the price.
3. Honor 6X
Launched in January, the Honor 6X is a good all-rounder with some really nice features that make it a strong choice at this price. Camera performance is its weakness, but it is neither too bad nor too great.
On the other hand, the build quality and performance of the phone is good. The display is bright and the battery life is also long. The fingerprint sensor given in the phone is reliable and the phone has a 5.5 inch full HD display, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB inbuilt storage and 3340 mAh battery.
4. Lenovo P2
A powerful smartphone with an affordable price, Lenovo P2 offers good performance and excellent battery life. It is a great option in terms of value for money and the most important thing is that its metal body gives a premium feel.
With its history as a battery-powered smartphone, the Lenovo P2 smartphone continues this tradition. Due to fast charging support and big battery, the phone seems heavy but due to the big battery of 5100 mAh, many people will like this phone. Overall, this is a very strong option for under Rs 15,000.
5. Lenovo Z2 Plus
The second phone of Lenovo which is included in this list is Lenovo Z2 Plus. Lenovo Z2 Plus performs well in every department except the camera. This smartphone looks good and this Lenovo phone has long battery life.
With overall good performance and great software tweaks, this affordable handset is a good option in the under Rs 15,000 category. But the phone does not come with a fast-charger and it does not support expandable storage. This may be a problem for some people.
6. Coolpad Max
Although the Coolpad Max is a bit old, we have included this phone in this list because its low price makes the phone affordable. Due to its premium metal body and good camera performance, this phone is definitely worth buying.
The custom software is a bit disappointing, but the phone has a good battery and great performance. Which makes it a better option for less than Rs 15,000.
7. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime
The price of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, which was launched for Rs 20,000, has now fallen to less than Rs 15,000. Due to which this phone also gets included in the list of less than Rs 15,000. The phone has great specifications and looks good too, so it is really a good option.
On the flip side, the fingerprint sensor is sometimes inaccurate and the camera performance in low light is also disappointing. The screen of the phone is great and the battery life is also good. So if Samsung has a great design, it’s a strong option.
Bonus
The Honor 8 Lite was launched in January and at under Rs 15,000 it is a good option if you are looking for design and cameras. Overall, it is a bit weak compared to the other phones included in this list. That’s why we have not included it in our list. But if you’re attracted to the phone, it’s not a bad option. Apart from this, the newly launched Honor Holly 3 with 3 GB RAM for Rs 12,999 is also an option.
