Who is better in performance, gaming and battery life?

Motorola One Fusion+ has made a spectacular entry in the sub-20,000 smartphone segment. We already know that Xiaomi and Realme smartphones have established their foothold in this segment. In such a situation, Motorola surprised everyone by launching its latest smartphone One Fusion+ for Rs 16,999. Motorola One Fusion+ also received praise in our review. Some of its features are almost stock Android experience free of bloatware, good chipset and great battery performance. However unfortunately after the launch the company increased its price and now it is sold for Rs 17,499. In terms of price, its direct competition is Xiaomi’s sub-brand mid-range smartphone Poco X2, which comes in India with dual selfie camera setup, 120Hz refresh rate display panel and powerful processor. We recently compared the cameras of Motorola One Fusion+ and Poco X2 and told you which phone would be better for you to choose. Today here we are comparing the specifications, battery, software etc. of Motorola One Fusion + and Poco Let’s see who wins between Motorola One Fusion+ and Poco X2.

Poco X2 has a 6.67-inch LCD display, while Motorola One Fusion+ has a 6.5-inch display. Both panels are HDR 10 certified, however, the Poco You get the option to change the color output of both displays. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 has been used for protection in Poco X2, whereas there is no protection of any kind for the Motorola display.

Poco X2 and Motorola One Fusion+ offer dual 4G VoLTE capabilities and both have hybrid dual-SIM slots. This means that the user can either use two SIMs or one SIM and a microSD card to expand the storage. However, 128 GB storage should be enough for most users. Still, the Poco X2 offers 256GB storage option and the Motorola One Fusion+ lacks it. Both smartphones support Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi, and multiple navigation systems.

Both Motorola One Fusion+ and Poco X2 phones run on Android 10. However, there is a huge difference here. The UI of the Motorola One Fusion+ offers a stock Android experience with the addition of some gesture-based shortcuts called Moto Actions. There are no unwanted apps pre-installed in it, which is the best thing. On the other hand, Poco phones get some bloatware. We encountered several spam notifications on the Poco X2 when we reviewed it. Many options for customization are available in both these smartphones. Overall, we liked the clean, almost stock-like operating system of the Motorola phone.

Poco X2 vs Motorola One Fusion+ performance

Both the Motorola One Fusion+ and Poco X2 deliver good performance and we did not notice any lag on either device. Scrolling through the UI of the Poco X2 with its 120Hz display was a pleasant experience. Both smartphones have fast fingerprint scanners. Poco

The screens of both smartphones look quite bright even in outdoor light, but while watching videos, we found that the Motorola One Fusion+ has better contrast. The speaker at the bottom of this device is also loud, which enhances the experience of watching content.

We also conducted benchmark tests on Motorola One Fusion+ and Poco X2. In AnTuTu, the One Fusion+ scored 273,407 points, while the Poco X2 got 280,912 points. In Geekbench 5’s single-core and multi-core tests, the Motorola One Fusion+ achieved scores of 548 and 1,691 respectively, while the Poco X2 got 548 and 1,759 points. We couldn’t compare graphics performance through benchmarks, as the Poco X2 refused to run 3DMark and GFXbench. In terms of performance, the difference between the two smartphones was not much. It’s also important to note that we had the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM variant of the Poco X2.

You can do gaming easily on both devices. Both the phones managed to run PUBG Mobile on High preset and the game ran without any lag. The battery life on these smartphones is also similar and you can get both of them to last for a day and a half with average usage on a single charge. In our HD video loop test, the Motorola One Fusion+ delivered a backup of 15 hours and 45 minutes with its larger battery. The Poco X2, on the other hand, lasted 13 hours and 45 minutes. The charging time of both is also different. The Poco X2 charges faster than the One Fusion+ due to its fast charger and smaller battery.
