Redmi Note 9 Pro vs Realme 6 performance and gaming
Both smartphones are equipped with a powerful octa-core processor. On one hand, Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset has been used in Redmi Note 9 Pro. At the same time, the company has given MediaTek Helio G90T chipset in Realme 6. However, both chipsets score almost the same marks in benchmark scores. Redmi Note 9 Pro scored 279,978 points in AnTuTu. At the same time, in the single-core and multi-core tests in Geekbench, it achieved scores of 568 and 1,761 respectively. Redmi Note 9 Pro scored 3,665 points in 3DMark’s Slingshot Unlimited test. In comparison, the Realme 6 scored 290,210 points in AnTuTu and 467 and 1,688 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Realme 6 got a score of 3,131 in 3DMark’s Slingshot Unlimited test.

In normal use, we found the performance of both the smartphones to be similar and did not see any problem in them. Multitasking is handled well on both the Realme 6 and Redmi Note 9 Pro phones, and the experience of running the custom Android-based skins included on both phones was smooth and lag-free. The 90Hz panel included in the Realme 6 provides a better scrolling experience, whereas the Redmi Note 9 Pro lacks this experience due to its standard panel.
Both phones handled heavy 3D mobile games comfortably in our testing. We played graphics-intensive games like PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9: Legends and found that the RAM and powerful processors on both phones handled heavy games with ease. Although the Realme 6 did get a little warmer than the Redmi Note 9 Pro during prolonged gaming, the temperatures on both devices still didn’t go out of control.
Both phones have similarly performing fingerprint sensors, which are fast as well as accurate with a quick tap on the side. Both phones unlock with just a single touch without having to press the power button. Similarly, the face unlock feature of both the phones also works in the same way i.e. fast and accurate.
Redmi Note 9 Pro vs Realme 6 battery life
The Realme 6 has a 4,300 mAh battery and in comparison, the Redmi Note 9 Pro has a larger 5,020 mAh capacity battery. In our testing, we found that both the phones can easily last for about one and a half days on a single charge, which is very good. You can expect the Redmi Note 9 Pro to last longer as it includes a larger battery capacity. Surprisingly, the Realme 6 outperformed the Redmi Note 9 Pro in our HD video battery loop test and lasted about 19.5 hours. Let us tell you that Redmi Note 9 Pro lasted only 16 hours in this test.

Coming to charging capacity, Realme 6 charges quickly due to its 30W fast charging support and low capacity battery. Whereas, Redmi Note 9 Pro has a larger battery and supports a maximum of 18W fast charging output, due to which it takes a little longer to charge.
