Whose plan is more beneficial between Vodafone Red and Jio Postpaid?

After the entry of Jio in the telecom sector, competition in the Indian telecom market has increased rapidly. The 4G network market has changed significantly in the last few years. The price per GB of data has come down from hundreds to a few rupees. Although till now most of the ‘benefits’ were around prepaid packs, now postpaid users are also coming under the ambit of attractive offers. Let us know what offers Vodafone and Reliance are giving to postpaid subscribers:

Vodafone Red

Recently Vodafone had made changes in the existing Rs 399 and Rs 499 packs of Red postpaid plan. Now users will get 40 GB data in Vodafone RED Basic 399 plan. Earlier 20 GB data was given. Rollover up to 200 GB will be possible in the plan. Additionally, users will be able to enjoy 1 year Vodafone Play and Amazon Prime subscription. The user will also get the benefit of unlimited local and national calls (including roaming). Similarly, now 75 GB data can be availed in Vodafone Rs. 499 RED-Traveler R plan. Earlier 40 GB data was given in it. Users will also get the benefit of 1 year Vodafone Play and Amazon Prime subscription here. Along with the same benefits, users will also be given a free device protection plan worth Rs 300.

The company’s third plan is Rs 1,299, whose standard billing cycle is 30 days. Under this plan, postpaid users get 100 GB data. Also, rollover of 500 GB is given in it. Users get 100 free ISD minutes and 2 months of Netflix base plan. Rest of the benefits remain the same, which we have told you in the Rs 499 pack.

The company has another ‘expensive’ postpaid plan, which is priced at Rs 1,999. This is the RED-International L plan, which gives the user the benefit of 200 GB data. Apart from similar benefits, this plan also gives users 3 months of Netflix subscription to enjoy movies, TV shows and documentaries.

Jio Postpaid

Reliance Jio has a postpaid plan of Rs 199, which gives users 25 GB for the entire month. In this, benefits of unlimited calls, SMS, MyJio app are given. At the same time, after the quota of 25 GB is completed, users pay the rate of Rs 20 per GB data for high speed surfing and downloading.

Jio also has a Global ISD postpaid plan, which costs Rs 501. The validity of this plan is 28 days, in which the user gets ISD talk time of Rs 551. Talking about international roaming, Jio has three postpaid plans – Rs 575 with 1 day validity, Rs 2,875 with 7 days validity and Rs 5,751 with 30 days validity.

The first two plans offer 100 minutes of voice calling and 250 MB data every day. At the same time, the last plan gives 5 GB data every day and 1,500 minutes to the subscriber.
