Xiaomi has launched a new 45W GaN fast charger set. One of the features of the charger is its compact design. Apart from this, the company claims that it also takes care of safety with fast charging output. The Xiaomi 45W GaN Charger supports multiple fast charging protocols including PD 3.0, QC 3.0, and PPS. Through this, many other electronic devices including smartphones, tablets can be charged. Not only this, Xiaomi says that it supports fast charging for the iPhone 15 series.

Xiaomi 45W GaN charger has been launched in China for 59 Yuan (about Rs 700). At present, the company has not given any official information regarding its launch in India. The new charger has been launched officially by the company in China. website But has been made available for sale.

Xiaomi’s new charger is equipped with Gallium Nitride (GaN) fast charging technology, which makes it smaller and lighter in size and weight respectively compared to traditional chargers and is also a reliable technology in terms of safety. For comparison, its volume is only 29 cubic centimeters, making it 59% smaller than Xiaomi’s regular 33W charger.

The Xiaomi 45W GaN Charger supports multiple fast charging protocols including PD 3.0, QC 3.0, and PPS. As we mentioned above, the new Xiaomi product can also fast charge Apple’s latest iPhone 15 series. Talking about safety features, the shell of the new charger is made of UL94-V0 material, which is fire resistant. It also includes input overcurrent safety, input overvoltage safety and output overtemperature safety.

With Type-C interface it can charge at 5V at 3A, 2A at 9V, 2.25A at 10V, 2.05A at 11V and 1.5A at 12V output. This 45W charger measures 32.2 x 32.2 x 32 mm. It claims to work efficiently in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 40°C. The charger comes with a 1-meter 4A USB-C to USB-C data cable.
