Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 to Launch on 19 July, Quad Rear Camera

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi’s book-style foldable smartphone Mix Fold 4 has been launched this week. It will have quad rear camera setup. It will replace Mix Fold 3. The battery of this smartphone will support 50 W wireless charging. Sales of foldable smartphones have increased rapidly in the last few years.

Xiaomi has said on China’s messaging platform Weibo that Mix Fold 4 will be launched on July 19. This smartphone will be made available in white and blue colors. It will have a Leica Summilux quad camera setup. It has two telephoto dual macro cameras with 5X periscope unit. Along with this, Redmi K70 Ultra will also be launched on July 19. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can be given as processor in Mix Fold 4. It may have a 50 megapixel primary camera. A 5,000 mAh battery can be found in this smartphone.

The company has said that Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip will be manufactured in the company’s smart factory in Changping, Beijing. This factory has the capacity to manufacture approximately one crore smartphones annually. Recently, tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) leaked the design and specifications of Mix Fold 4 in a post on social media platform X. In this, a larger camera island is visible as compared to the company’s previous smartphones. It has four Coca-Cola branded cameras and LED flash. This smart fone A 50-megapixel primary camera can be provided with a Leica Summilux lens. Xiaomi’s Mix Fold 3 had Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

This tipster claims that the Mix Fold 4 could have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for wireless charging. These design and specifications are of the prototype of this smartphone and there may be some changes in it. The company launched the Xiaomi 14 series earlier this year. Xiaomi is preparing to enter a price segment in which it did not have presence earlier. It plans to launch a smartphone priced around Rs 50,000. Recently, Xiaomi CMO, Anuj Sharma, in a conversation with Gadgets 360, had said that the new smartphone will reduce the gap between Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Xiaomi 14.
