Xiaomi to Launch Mix Flip This Month, May Get 4,700mAh Battery, Images leaked

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi’s first clamshell foldable smartphone Mix Flip will be launched this month. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can be given as processor in it. This smartphone may have a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 4,700 mAh battery.

Spotted on the website of the National Communications Commission (NCC) in Taiwan with model number 2405CPX3DG. This could be Xiaomi Mix Flip. From this listing it is revealed that it has support for 67 W fast charging. It is tipped to have dual batteries with capacities of 1,145 mAh and 3,595 mAh. A tipster on Chinese messaging platform Weibo has suggested that the Mix Flip may have a 4,700 mAh battery with support for 67 W fast charging. The listing on NCC also includes images of this smartphone. It has a vertically aligned dual camera setup on the cover display.

The main foldable display of this smartphone has a hole-punch cutout aligned in the center and at the bottom. Xiaomi ‘s branding. However, these images may be of a prototype device. Earlier, Mix Flip was spotted on Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, IMEI and TUV certification sites with the same model number. Earlier this week, Xiaomi had told that Mix Flip will be launched along with Mix Fold 4 this month. These smartphones will be manufactured in the company’s smart factory in Changping, Beijing, China.

The company’s book style foldable smartphone Mix Fold 4 will replace the Mix Fold 3 introduced in China last year. Recently, tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) leaked the design and specifications of Mix Fold 4 in a post on social media platform X. In this, a larger camera island is visible as compared to the company’s previous smartphones. It has four Coca-Cola branded cameras and LED flash. This smartphone can have a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Leica Summilux lens. It may have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as its processor. The Mix Fold 4 may pack a 5,000 mAh battery with support for wireless charging. These design and specifications are of its prototype and there may be some changes in it.
