Xiaomi’s new smartphone Xiaomi Mi 5 looks like this, see the first glimpse
MI5 Meetings will start in China from March 1st. But Xiaomi has not yet given any information regarding the sale of this smartphone outside China. Xiaomi It is introducing its flagship smartphone in the market as the first Snapdragon 820 processor.
Soon Xiaomi Mi 5 will also be launched in India. The company has launched Xiaomi MI5 in three variants. The standard edition of Mi 5 has 3 GB LPDD4 RAM and 32 GB inbuilt storage, the high variant has 3 GB LPDD4 RAM and 64 GB storage while the Exclusive Edition has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The price of the standard edition has been kept at around Rs 21 thousand (1,999 Chinese Yuan), the price of the high variant has been kept at around Rs 24 thousand (2,299 Chinese Yuan) while the price of the exclusive edition has been kept at around 28 thousand rupees (2,699 Chinese Yuan).
The design of Xiaomi Mi 5 is on the lines of Xiaomi’s Mi Note but its rear edges are more curved than before. The phone will be available in black, white, gold and rose colors. This is Xiaomi’s first phone to have a fingerprint sensor along with a physical home button. It has a 5.5-inch full HD display (1080×1920 pixels) with two nano dual SIM support. The density of the display is 428ppi. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. The phone has 16 megapixels with phase detection autofocus, LED flash and Sony IMX298 camera sensor. The rear camera also has 4axis OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and sapphire glass protection lens. The smartphone supports 4K video recording. The phone has a front camera of 4 ultrapixels with 2 micron pixels. Both cameras have F/2.0 aperture.
The dimensions of the phone are 144.5×69.2×7.25mm and weight is 129 grams. The Mi 5 packs a 3000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
The phone has a Type-C USB port. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GLONASS and NFC.
