Zomato Pure Veg Mode made users disappointed company not to use green uniform

Zomato has taken a big step for those who like vegetarian food. The food delivery platform will now run a special fleet for those ordering veg food. That means the delivery person for veg food will also be different. Even their t-shirt will be in green color instead of red color. The company has started it. The platform has said that we have launched ‘Pure Veg Mode’ for customers who want veg. For which even the uniforms of the fleet and the delivery boxes will be of green colour. But some users did not like this new beginning!

Zomato CEO Deepindra Goyal shared a post from his account on social media platform X. Goyal said that the number of people eating vegetarian food in India is the highest in the world. And the most important feedback we have received from the customers is that the customers are very sensitive about the way they cook and handle the food. In this latest mode of Zomato, only those restaurants will be included which serve only vegetarian food.

The company is rolling out this new mode in a phased manner. This service will be available across the country in the next few weeks. Deepindra Goyal also said that only veg orders will be sent in the green delivery box. Non-veg food will not be kept in it. Not only this, even if a non-veg restaurant is serving veg dishes, there is no space for it in the green box.

After the announcement, mixed reactions are coming out from users on social media. Many users have appreciated this move. At the same time, many have called it discriminatory. Users also said that now some societies will even ban red-shirt delivery persons. Many users claimed that this step of the platform is discriminatory due to which they have deleted the Zomato app from their phones. The CEO says that it has nothing to do with any religion or politics. Seeing the anger of the users, the company withdrew its decision. Now green t-shirt will not be used for delivery persons of wage fleet.

Zomato is working on plans to run more similar special fleets in the coming days. Special feet for cake can be seen in this. It is reported that the company will use hydraulic balancer for the cake fleet so that the cake can reach the customer in its original form during delivery.
